HOMEMADE COUNTING BOX

HOMEMADE RECYCLED COUNTING BOX

I made this box over two years ago and have used it more times than I can count (pun intended). Rough looking box, because I removed the *very* glued on sticker and tags to get a clean surface. I mean still works perfectly, plus that good of a box had to be made into something!

This counting activity is a great visual on how two numbers make one. The dry erase section might be your toddler's favorite part, it sure was Nicky's! It is a toddler activity that works perfectly to introduce your little ones to math. Learning through play at its best! The visual aspect of it helps to understand how adding and subtracting really work. For babies/toddlers, simply use as a posting box. They love to open the wipe lids and insert objects. This is great for developmental milestones! They'll practice voluntary release, taking objects in and out of the box, and overall fine motor skills.
