THE BEST FROZEN YOGURT DROPS RECIPE

THE BEST FROZEN YOGURT DROPS RECIPE

Are you looking for a quick, healthy baby and toddler snack? If so, this finger food is super simple to make and you only need 3 ingredients! I mean it when I say that these frozen yogurt bites were a life saver for when Emma was teething. They helped soothe her gums and they entertained her for a while too! I now treat the whole family to them since they are so delicious, healthy, and easy to make with NO added sugar!

I hate packing my kids full of sugar, and if I can, I will ALWAYS try to find an alternative that is just as yummy without added nasties. This recipe was very quick to put together and I personally think it is MUCH better than the original yogurt drops you buy from the shops. So, let’s get into it so your kiddos can enjoy it too!

Frozen yogurt drops INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup pureed strawberries

  • 1 cup plain yogurt or Greek yogurt

  • Vanilla extract

how to make frozen yogurt drops:

  1. Wash and pit the strawberries.

  2. Puree the strawberries until all of the strawberries are combined.

  3. Mix the yogurt with the strawberries thoroughly, until evenly combined.

  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  5. Using a piping bag and tip or a pipette, fill the pan with droplets of the yogurt-strawberry mixture.

  6. Freeze for at least 1 hour or until hard.

  7. Remove from baking pan and enjoy!

Tips:

  • If the homemade yogurt mixture is too liquid at room temperature to hold its drop shape, place the mixture in the refrigerator for a little while and then try again.

  • When consuming, only take out the amount you want to eat because the yogurt melts quickly.

  • If traveling, you can put the yogurt drops in a freezer bag to stop them from melting.

Enjoy this easy snack with your little ones!

Anything I can make with ease from things I probably already have in the fridge or pantry is a serious winner in my eyes. I love that these little yogurt drops are a sweet treat without any nasties that my little ones adore. Even my husband thinks they’re the best snack ever, and I can’t help but pick one up every time my kids are eating them.
