BLACK WATER SENSORY BOX
MYSTERY WATER BOX DIY FOR KIDS
Have you ever seen the classic sensory game of what’s in the box? You know, the one where you stick your hand blindly in a box and try to figure out what it is? Well, this is pretty much that but no box and lots of water. A more toddler friendly version. I prepared this without my girls so that when they picked something out of the water, it was a complete surprise. Cutest reactions ever! Plus, who doesn’t like water play?
MATERIALS:
Clear shallow-ish container
4 cups water
Things to find: must be able to sink to the bottom
INSTRUCTIONS:
Pour the water into the clear container.
Add a few drops of black food coloring to the water mix it until pitch black.
Add in the thing to find and have your little one search for them.
Tip: I recommend adding things of different textures. I added water beads and clear marbles. Both clear but one is hard and the other squishy.
