HACK TO REMOVE PERMANENT MARKER

Guys, this is it! The holy grail of marker hacks! If you have a toddler under your roof, you have probably already searched for how to remove permanent marker from your walls, if not, save this hack somewhere safe because unfortunately, I have to be honest with you, you will eventually need it.

Before getting to the good part, I have to tell you about the experiment. Yes, we definitely conducted an extensive research experiment to put this hack to the test! And it outperformed all other tests! We tried the most popular ways, and ours was definitely the winner. So… enough with the sweet talk, here’s the deal.

We tried hand sanitizer, 70% isopropyl alcohol, dry eraser marker over the permanent marker, hair spray, and even the famous magic eraser. And guess what, none of them performed as well as our technique! Hands down, the winner was… sunscreen. Yep, I know, did not expect it right? I did not expect it either, I was mind-blown!

So, it’s not that all the other ones did not work, they did (with the exception of the dry eraser marker over the permanent marker, that one just made a bigger mess,) it’s that the hand sanitizer, alcohol, hair spray, and even the magic eraser all started to remove the actual paint from the wall. As you rubbed away the permanent marker, you rubbed off the paint too, which is not ideal for obvious reasons.

On the other hand, the sunscreen worked magically. It removed the stain and the wall and paint remained intact. I had to try it a few times to make sure it wasn’t my mind playing tricks on me. It was amazing! It works super fast, so just spray the sunscreen directly onto the stain, hold a napkin below to catch the drips, and rub it with a clean cloth to wipe it clean.

The sunscreen should be some sort of extra/maximum/sport strength for it to work. I tried one labeled for kids and it did not work, so just keep that in mind.

Tons of people wrote back saying that they tried it right away on old stains and it removed them instantly! Let’s just say if I was in the science fair, I would have won!
