DIY PICTURE PUZZLE

This might be the easiest DIY puzzle to make. All you need is a picture and a pair of scissors. Cut the picture into strips, mix them up, and then challenge your kids to put it back together. You can use a photograph, a page from a magazine, a coloring page, a hand-drawn picture, or even a cereal box. If you want this puzzle to last a while, you can glue each strip onto a popsicle stick or piece of cardboard.

DIY MATCHING GAME

This fun matching game is super easy to make and the possibilities are endless. Grab random items from around your house to trace on cardboard, construction paper, or craft foam. Then challenge your child to match the items with the outlines you traced.
